Digital Impact taking over hosting packages
As of 1 September 2018, all activities and contracts in the field of websites, webshops and online marketing, together with the staff involved, have been taken over by Digital Impact B.V. As of 1 January 2019, the monthly invoicing for the CMS and the hosting of your website has been taken over by Digital Impact.
We understand this may raise questions. To get ahead of them, we have put together an FAQ below.
I had several packages with Digital Impact; what transfers to Digital Impact?
Some products will not transfer, because of the nature of the work involved. Did you purchase the following items from Goos Online:
- VPS server with dashboard
- SLA + VPS server with dashboard
- Email + SLA + VPS server with dashboard
Then those will not be transferred to Digital Impact. If you did not purchase the products above from Goos Online, the new invoicing will come from Digital Impact. That covers CMS packages, hosting and domain management, for example.
I paid by SEPA direct debit; what happens to that?
We use a CORE direct debit. Through the magic of technology, these SEPA settings will be taken over by Digital Impact; you do not have to arrange anything to keep paying by SEPA direct debit. Collection will start slightly later than you are used to, and a message about that will follow.
What happens to my invoicing period?
The option to pay monthly/quarterly/annually is also taken over by Digital Impact, so nothing changes about your invoicing period.
What happens to the notice period of my packages?
Your existing notice period remains in force. The contract terms will be transferred to Digital Impact one to one.
